Dungeons & Dragons Sundays

Calling all Jr and Sr youth! Join us on Sunday, November 16th, from 11AM to 3:30PM at Brian and Anna's home for epic D&D adventures.

The $10 fee is to cover the cost for pizza. See you there! Please pay before the Friday of the event via EFT: give@elevationwaterloo.org (Memo: Youth - D&D Sundays)

Campaign Information:

  • The Campaign is available to all Youth in grades 6-12. Youth do not need to attend Elevation Youth Group to participate.
  • Games will be held at 222 Mauser Ave in Kitchener from 11am-3:30pm on select Sundays any change in times will be announced ahead of time.
  • All games are one shot adventures with an overarching story playing out over the 10 sessions. Participants do not need to be able to commit to all sessions.
  • New players are encouraged to play and we will teach new players how to play as we go. This process is easier at the start of the campaign, so new players are encouraged to join early on.
  • Players may make their own characters, or use a premade character provided by Brian. If you are making your own character you may use D&D Beyond using this link: https://www.dndbeyond.com/campaigns/join/6965745717775803
  • Characters will start at 1st level in September and gain a level each month whether their player plays in the previous game or not.
  • When making a character on D&D Beyond players should set their character preferences so that only Core and Expanded Rules sources are selected and all partnered content is unselected. Ability Scores should be selected using only the Point Buy or Standard Array methods. If you have questions about any of this please ask Brian and he can walk you through the process of character creation. All characters must be approved by Brian or another DM and the decision of the DM is final.
  • Characters are encouraged to use the digital characters sheets on their phone or other device if possible, as doing so saves paper, but hard copies can be printed if needed.
  • We will be ordering pizza from Little Caesars each Sunday. The cost is $10 per student and we will be ordering cheese and pepperoni pizzas. If players have any food allergies or issues please make sure Brian knows about them ahead of time. Students are welcome to bring their own food/snacks.

If you have any questions or concerns you may contact Brian Pengelly.
